Overview

North East is a pub and bar in Jaipur, and we designed its logo. The name is set in a red-orange brush script that arches over a drawing of two beer mugs clinking together, with foam spilling over their rims, and the words PUB & BAR sit in thin capitals underneath.

The logo has no frame or badge around it. The lettering and the drawing stand on their own against white, in a lockup that is taller than it is wide.

It was a logo design project. For what a logo job should hand over, and what a full identity adds, see our guide to logo vs brand identity.

What we did

Logo Design

A brush-script name over two clinking beer mugs

North East is lettered in a bold, slanted brush script, set on a curve so the two words form an arch over the drawing. The red-orange is close to #D74A2D in the file shown here.

The drawing shows two glass beer mugs tilted toward each other as they touch, each with its handle on the outer side. Both are full of amber beer with small bubbles, drawn with dark brown outlines and lighter vertical stripes for the shine on the glass, and white foam spills over the rims, with small drops flying out around them.

Below the mugs, PUB & BAR is set in thin, evenly spaced red-orange capitals, with a smaller line of capitals between two short rules underneath.
